About Us
After 30+ years as a corporate retail executive managing shopping centers for major real estate developers around the U.S., and a long time resident of Ball Ground, GA, I decided that I wanted to bring my expertise, passion and commitment of gift giving and retail to my home town.
Located on the unofficial “welcome corner” of Ball Ground (Gilmer Ferry Road and Old Canton Road), we welcome residents and visitors to our 1100 square foot store, where you will find an extraordinary array of merchandise, including exclusive home décor, eclectic furniture, accessories, lighting, gifts, garden, and greeting cards.
I source what I love; I repurpose items that have caught my eye to make them unique. I grow my own houseplants and succulents with love and care in special greenhouses in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Yes, we carry nationally known and loved brands, but you will always find a mix of new merchandise, repurposed treasures and hand-crafted products. I strive to always offer a sunny, warm welcome to my store, whether you are browsing, looking for the perfect gift (for yourself or others) or “shopping with a purpose.” It’s a simple phrase, but one we live by – we provide good value with great pricing.
On most days, I’ll be here to welcome you. On some days (if you’re lucky enough), you might also be greeted by Nicki, a welcoming, but well trained French bulldog!
